With the construction of the first Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) in the Baton Rouge area, the opportunity arose for an enclave of buildings providing for the commercial, mercantile and business needs of the neighborhood’s residents. The village center, made up of six three-story buildings, is located directly adjacent to a major transportation thoroughfare and within walking & biking distance to the over 350 residences within the neighborhood, as well as, 1000’s of existing residences in the subdivisions in the surrounding areas. The ground floors are dedicated to boutique and restaurant uses, while upper stories have office or residential use, each with ample balconies overlooking a public plaza.
