Originally from the Houma/Thibodaux area, Whitney relocated to Baton Rouge to study architecture at LSU in 1989, and has since become a permanent Tiger fan and resident.
As an RHH Associate and Project Manager, Whitney is an expert in assembling and leading design teams of varying sizes through expedited schedules, tight budgets and difficult site conditions. In the office, Whitney mentors and manages interns and younger architects, expanding RHHA’s future resources for producing quality projects.
Whitney is an advocate for the Baton Rouge chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and has served on numerous AIA local and state boards and committees over the years.
Over the last 10 years, She has worked to elevate the Baton Rouge AIA’s Rose Awards, an annual architectural design competition, into a exciting, highly-publicised local Gala. Nationally recognized by the AIA, the Rose Awards celebrates the work of the Baton Rouge chapter and enhances the community’s understanding of the role architectural design plays in the city.
Whitney and her husband Richard have two children, Anna and Reid, and are deeply committed to building a better Baton Rouge through continuing volunteerism.
