In 2021 two Reform Congregations that separated in 1945 voted to unify.  During this time of intense study and due diligence the Congregation decided to sell one Synagogue and undertake extensive renovations and additions to the Kleinert Avenue Synagogue in order to accommodate the entire unified congregation at that location.  RHH recommended the construction of a new Sanctuary rather than the renovation of the existing sanctuary so that members of each congregation would be equally represented in the new Home for the Jewish Community in Baton Rouge.”
